Slack Off? Never!
Women’s dress pants are an essential part of our wardrobe. The basic black slacks look great with a fitted blouse or a sweater, or teamed with a blazer of any color.
We can all easily find pants suitable for every occasion – from long cuts to cropped pants, boot cuts to straight leg pants; the choices are plenty. However, to look good in pants, proper fitting is extremely important. This is because not all pant styles are suitable for all body types.
The pear-shaped figure. These women should opt for straight leg; wide-cut pants could be the right choice. Straight cut pants create a straight line down to your feet. This creates the illusion of a more proportionate figure. A low-rise pant will give your thighs and hips a slimmer and compact look, and who doesn’t want that?
Ah, the hour-glass figure. These lucky gals usually have long legs, a full bottom and a small to average waistline. For this figure, skinny or short pants, such as cropped pants or capris are a great option. The style will accentuate your curvy frame, making you look very feminine. You can even dress up capris with a pair of heels and a blazer.
The athletic or straight figure. These women may want to add more volume to their hips if they want that feminine figure. For them, skinny jeans with narrow legs and tapered ankles could be the right choice.
Last, but not least, us shorty’s. We would want to choose pants with longer cuts create the illusion of a taller and slimmer frame, while shorter cuts will just make us look shorter. Do we really want to look any shorter? Never!
